Corporate Social Responsibility
A century of social impact
Gandhi ji once remarked about the Parsees: ‘I am proud of my country for having produced the splendid Zoroastrian stock in numbers beneath contempt, but in quality and philanthropy perhaps unequalled, certainly unsurpassed.
The Parsee diaspora is spread across the globe, with the glaring exception of the Cooper family, which settled in the small town of Satara over a hundred years ago and has remained there, working towards social reform and economic upliftment of the masses through social responsibility and entrepreneurship long before it became mandatory.

Cooper, as a family and as an organization, has been committed to the growth of the community and our surroundings. We have been given so much in life by so many people that we are emotionally committed to giving back to those in need. Hence, long before the government started Corporate Social Responsibility, Cooper, as an institution, has been at the forefront of philanthropy.
